Enforceable contracts - executable code negotiation and transactions

Multi-modal reliability - operate in an occasionally connected/multi-network environment

Simplify the “politics of system integration” by augmenting ISV, systems integrators, and developer communities in addressing best practices, standards, compliance validation, and system certification & accreditation.

Demonstrate through use cases and solution sets how top down system integration and bottom up application mashups converge to operationalize requirements analysis at the point of use.

Publish reviews, critiques & analysis, whitepapers, and sample frameworks to inform the community of emerging best practices

Promote tight, efficient solutions for both Web2.0 and Enterprise developers

Bureaucracy taken out of the development cycle

Facilitates transition points between Web 2.0 & Enterprise SOA

Annually review the continuing benefits of this task force and take appropriate actions to dissolve or continue
The SafeSOA Task Force will not just document what is currently accepted; it will also anticipate new directions and fundamental challenges. By elaborating on the direction the community is currently taking regarding Enterprise SOA and Web 2.0, the SafeSOA Task Force will help resolve issues related to the future direction of systems integration across the industry.
